Hi, I’m Lydia and I’m an aspiring Graphic Designer based in the West Midlands, seeking to secure my first role in the design field. I have just finished in an administrative role at an independent school, and have worked in both the public and independent sectors.
My passion for Graphic Design emerged when I was tasked with creating digital posters for display on the school’s screens. Due to time constraints in my current role, I have primarily worked with Canva, but I am eager to expand my expertise and fully immerse myself in the creative industry.
I’m proficient in using Adobe Illustrator and Canva, and Adobe Photoshop and InDesign at an intermediate level. Right now, I’m currently doing an online course on Udemy called ‘Graphic Design Masterclass: Learn Great Design’, to build on my knowledge and improve my skills even further. This course focuses on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
I’m very organised and have strong communication skills. I’m good at problem solving, managing my time effectively, and work well as part of a team and also on my own initiative. I always strive to maintain a high level of professionalism in everything I do.
